I finally found what weapon works for me, and information technology's been a blast. But one thing I can't piece of work out is how mounting works exactly? I tin can get above the monster just it seems random to me if I'll mount it or just attack it mid air. Any pro mounters able to offer communication? Thank you

There is a sort of hidden damage gauge you take to 'fill up up' before you're able to mount and that 'gauge' gets harder to fill each time you mountain. The first mountain is by and large free just then you have to hit the damage cap on that 'gauge' before yous can mount over again. Hi insect glaive main here on ps4.
